Unitron uDirect 3 is Bluetooth interface and remote control for Hearing Aids
Unitron's stylish accessory for wirelessly connecting your Unitron Hearing Aids to Bluetooth-enabled media devices. Pair your cell phone, computer or navigation device.
You'll get clear, natural sound in both Hearing Aids-automatically.
From now on, you can make phone calls without any problems, even in noisy environments, because you can hear the person you are talking to clearly directly through your Hearing Aids and with the amplification set in them. You can make video calls on your tablet PC or simply listen to music - wirelessly and effortlessly. After pairing the devices of your choice with uDirect, you can simply put uDirect on and move freely around the room. Be there.
At the same time, the streamer is a convenient remote control for quick access to the most important functions of your Hearing Aids.
Unitron uDirect™ and your cell phone (with Bluetooth):
After pairing the two devices, uDirect™ 2 receives the Bluetooth signals from the cell phone and forwards them to the Hearing Aids like a Bluetooth hands-free kit. For this purpose, the uDirect has an integrated microphone.
This means that when you receive a call via your cell phone, a special tone in your Hearing Aids signals the incoming call. You can answer the call by pressing the streamer once and hear the caller through your Hearing Aids, with the gain set in the Hearing Aids. The integrated microphone replaces the telephone Receiver, so you effectively have a headset. People with hearing loss who use cell phones can thus understand even better in noisy situations than people with normal hearing. This convenient and helpful feature is available with just the push of a button.
Unitron uDirect™ and various audio sources:
After pairing Bluetooth-enabled audio devices with the streamer, you can listen to music or TV directly through your Hearing Aids. If your TV or stereo is not Bluetooth-enabled, this can be provided to the Unitron uTV via a separate Bluetooth transmitter. The alternative to Bluetooth is a wired connection between the streamer's audio jack and the headphone output of any audio device.
Unitron uDirect™ and FM systems for Hearing Aids:
If you already use an FM system, you can connect it to uDirect. It has a connection socket for the Phonak X Receivers for this purpose. To combine with FM systems, simply connect the Receiver to the uDirect and you can hear speech through the transmitter and receive it at a range of up to 20 meters. This means you only need a single X-Receiver, as the radio signal is transmitted to both Hearing Aids. In addition, the Hearing Aids remain significantly smaller without the audio shoe and Receiver module.
The Unitron uDirect™ as a remote control for your Hearing Aids:
The integrated remote control allows you to select the programs stored in the Hearing Aid as well as adjust the volume of your Unitron Hearing Aids. In addition, uDirect informs you about the system status through various messages. For example, you will receive a notification when the batteries in your Hearing Aids are running low. Or if you receive a call and the caller's number is stored in your Hany - uDirect will tell you the caller's name even before you answer the call.
